Johanna P. Peres is the Founder and CEO of Reclaiming Us, A Black Pride Wellness Movement, building on more than 25 years of community leadership and service. Since 2001, her work has centered community care, wellness, connection, and creating access to resources for underserved communities.
She founded Vegas Black Pride® in 2018 and San Bernardino County Black Pride™ in 2025, both now year-round programs of Reclaiming Us. Today, she leads a growing wellness movement connecting communities across California and Nevada through care, culture, healing and opportunity.
